The Kohala Waterfalls Adventure begins with a drive along the Big
Island coastline, where the environment transitions from arid to lush. Along the way you’ll journey up the North
Kona and Kohala coastlines where lava flows from Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and The
Kohala Mountains can be seen. Plantation
towns of Hawi and Kapaau, the site of the life-size statue of King Kamehameha I,
are passed through before the real adventure begins.
